| You know your philosophy behind life has changed when you're researching the best vacuum cleaners on Consumer Reports.Wait, I neglected to mention that's where my tax return is going.Well, at least what's left of my return after paying off my credit card and putting a small portion into Christian's savings account.Anyway, I think I've decided on the Kenmore Bagless Upright with Inteli-Clean?I gotta say, I'm really not into cleaning.I've just gotten to the point where I'm tired of living in filth.Plus, I watched "Enchanted" last night, and there's a scene where she calls in all the sewer rats and pigeons to help her clean.Even the cockroaches come out of the drain to scrub the tub.It's all pretty disgusting, but it made me realize what a pathetic slob I am.I also see that I'm raising my son to think a messy house is normal.I don't want him to be the kid with the nasty house that none of the other kids want to play in.?So, I left up my tribute to Cinco de Mayo for long enough, and now it's time to pay homage to something more important.That would be the local music scene, people. |
| That would be the local music scene, people.Although, I've bulletined on this and put it on my profile, I have yet to post it in a blog.?That's one week from today, some seriously hot music at the Norva, and all proceeds go to the victims of the Suffolk tornadoes that hit last week.If you're not from my neck of the woods, tornados are rare to begin with and these were rated an EF-3.Getting back on topic, though, these artists are foregoing payment to benefit others.Did I mention my most very favorite DJ in the world is hosting?Don't worry, Matt, you're still my favorite Canadian radio hottie.?Anyway, I realize most people who read my blog live no where near me, but There are plenty of you in Richmond, Fredericksburg, and DC, and my house is open to anyone wanting to visit (unless I'm afraid of you stalking me).It's going to be a great show, and you can check out all the bands through my profile song.That's "Hurricane Hunter" as performed by Jackmove.?They're also on the Soul Haven Productions page along with the Influence, Counterfeit Molly and Still Pink.I'm planning on rotating my song throughout the next week to showcase several of my favorites by all of these guys.So keep checking in, and here's to a great time on the 16th. |
